Nahla Mesbah is a marketing research and strategy specialist and serves as DinarStandard’s Africa based Research Associate. She has worked with clients such as Thomson Reuters, the Office of the Prime Minister of Dubai, and the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation.

Before joining DinarStandard, Nahla worked on various donor projects in Egypt. She also worked as a Senior Associate with Dr. Ibrahim Hegazy and Associates providing marketing research, consulting and training to clients in various industries. She has also been a part-time faculty member at the American University in Cairo and Misr International University

Being from Egypt, Nahla possesses a deep understanding of the Middle East and Africa.

She holds a BA in Political Science with a minor in Economics from the American University in Cairo as well as an MA in Comparative Politics.

Relevant Experience:

• Designing and implementing primary research activities, including focus groups, in-depth interviews, and surveys for various DS projects covering various Middle Eastern markets.

• Authoring a number of reports for the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) including “Sustainable Destination Management Strategies in the OIC Member Countries” 

• Conducting seminars on tourism for national tourism organizations including WESGRO (The official tourism promotion agency for Cape Town and the Western Cape) and Al-Quds Tourism and Heritage Council.

• Planning and conducting Innovation Workshop for Tamkeen Bahrain and Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB)
