A Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) by qualification, Atif began his career with KPMG in the UK before transitioning to development finance and commercial banking. He served as CFO of Citibank’s largest overseas franchise in the Middle East and later became Finance Director of its retail finance operations in the UK.

Atif's career has spanned leadership roles in diverse sectors, including multi-divisional family conglomerates and high-growth startups, some of which he has successfully led through IPOs in competitive markets.
