Delmar is a seasoned professional with a decade of experience across multiple roles in the halal certification process—as a compliance auditor, project lead for halal transformation initiatives, and policy advocate in collaboration with government stakeholders

He also serves as a senior halal instructor, delivering capacity-building programs for halal supervisors and executives. His training clients span both private and public sectors, including regulatory bodies, state-owned enterprises, and multinational corporations.

In his previous role as Consulting Service Manager at IHATEC Consulting Service, he has led numerous projects supporting multinational companies in achieving halal compliance across sectors including F&B, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and medical devices—ensuring alignment with both local and global standards.

Delmar’s early career was deeply rooted in supporting Indonesian MSMEs to meet halal certification requirements through both government and private-led initiatives. He also served as the Representative Officer at LPPOM MUI’s China-Shanghai office, facilitating international outreach and cross-border collaboration in halal assurance.

Outside of work, Delmar is a father of two who enjoys exploring local eateries and spending quality time with his family—often over friendly console gaming sessions on weekends, bringing balance to his dynamic professional life
