What 'Box' are you in?
"Thinking outside the box" is one of the most commmon phrases of innovation-speak, but thinking outside the box is difficult if you don't understand the box you're in.
"So the first step is always some kind of zooming out to look at what’s going on in the context you are defining.. What biz are you in? What do customers truly need, and what are they frustrated by? What unique strength can we bring to create some new value for them that has not currently been created? Very straight forward questions, but very hard to answer."
